Tampa Bay Aquatics
(TBAY) is dedicated to offering the finest in
aquatic instruction and training. We are members in good
standing of USA
Swimming, the
National Club Swimming Association and
Florida Swimming. We operate within the guidelines
set forth by those organizations. The team
was awarded the Silver Medal by USA Swimming for
Club Excellence and recognized as one of the
top 100 swim clubs in the US!
TBAY branches operate at bay area
pools located in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Polk
counties. Even though we are a "big" team, we maintain
a, "small team,” feel. We offer swimmers and their
families a safe, convenient and healthy environment to
learn and compete. Competitive swimming is a fun,
exciting, challenging, lifetime sport and TBAY exists to
offer each athlete the attention and support they need
to meet and exceed their goals in the water.
Since our inception, we have had
tremendous success competitively and organizationally.
We always enjoy a strong presence at area age group
meets and are one of the few teams nationally that
qualify swimmers and score at Junior and USA Nationals
season in, and season out.

Most importantly, TBAY strives to
make a positive contribution to the swim community and
our athletes’ character development. We strive to
help each individual see that lessons learned as a
swimmer can help them succeed in life as they grow into
adulthood. Winning and improving in the water
builds mental and physical discipline, integrity,
determination, and sportsmanship. TBAY swimmers
win team and individual local, state and national
titles; swimmers drop times and improve their own
individual performance…but they are constantly reminded
that it is the Championship behavior...not the
Championship... that is important to long term success;
both in the pool and beyond.
