After a 3-month-long nationwide search for a new head coach of Central branch, Tampa Bay Aquatics found its ideal candidate in Baltimore. TBAY is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Bowes. Jason comes to us from one of the most respected swim programs in the country, North Baltimore Aquatic Club, which has produced Olympians, national- and world-record holders, including Michael Phelps and Katie Hoff.

Most recently, under Jason's leadership and training, the Pointe-Claire Swim Club in Montreal won the men's overall title at the 2006 Canadian Age Group Swimming Championships. During his 6-year stay at Pointe-Claire, Jason produced some of the best age groupers in Canada, including 7 national champions, 26 national medalists, and 50+ finalists.  In 2005, Jason was an assistant deck manager at the FINA World Championships.

Jason will bring over 12 years of high-level experience, integrity, innovation, and strong technical skills to TBAY. We look forward to having Jason on deck, at Tampa Prep, December 10th.
