FAQ and Primer for the Thriva-Active Registration Process

What is Active? – Active, by Thriva, is a website that is customized for teams and membership organizations just like TBAY-Central to use for registration, payments, and communications functions. Members create an account, enter the required information, and when applicable can make secure on-line payments – all from a website accessible via links on the TBAY-Central website

Who has to use it? – All TBAY-Central members (head of household) will need to register for themselves and each family member. Our goal is to have all branch members enrolled very early in the season so we can leverage Active’s ability to organize and ensure accurate lists for email communication in a way that our limited resources and manual processes cannot without significant administrative effort.

PLEASE do not create more than one account. We can help you locate your password if you forget or misplace it. If you create more than one account, you will create nightmare situations for us as we import our data into Hy-tek in order to run the meets. So, PLEASE do not create a new account just because you forgot your password.

While registering, use your child's name as it is used in USA swimming. If your child is not a registered USA swimmer, it is not a problem at all. Please just make sure you enter their legal name using Initial Cap/Lower case. In the preferred name area, enter the swimmer name as you would like to see it on meet sheets, etc (i.e., if they use their middle name).

Please be sure to complete the all email sections. This will be the primary email we use for team emails. If the email is not entered correctly, you will not receive team emails.
